MySleep™ Overlay Warranty

20 Year Limited Warranty
During the first ten (10) years of the warranty (excluding specific limitations contained herein), MyComfort guarantees that your MySleep™ Overlay (Intelli-Gel® SINGLE GEL, Intelli-Gel® DOUBLE GEL, or Intelli-Gel®/Latex) will be replaced or repaired at MyComfort’s discretion and without cost to you, should it be found defective because of poor workmanship or structural defects. This limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the Intelli-Gel® which does not affect the pressure relieving, supporting, or aligning properties of the Intelli-Gel® Overlay.

The MySleep™ Overlay Warranty covers any normal use issues that causes the overlay to have a visible indentation greater than 1 ½”, not associated with a sag in the foundation or platform. It also covers any flaw in the mattress that causes permanent structural damage to the Intelli-Gel® during normal usage. If such defects occur during the 2nd ten (10) years of the limited warranty, MyComfort will, at our discretion, repair the overlay at a prorated charge to you. If during the 2nd ten (10) years of the limited warranty it is not possible or feasible to repair the overlay, MyComfort will replace the mattress at a prorated charge to you.

During the first year of the prorated 2nd ten (10) years of the limited warranty, the prorated replacement or repair charge will be 50% of the then current full retail price of the overlay (if that overlay is no longer sold, then of the full retail price of the overlay which is closest in design to your overlay). The prorated charge will increase by 5.56% for each subsequent year of the prorated period.

MySleep™ Mattress Warranties

AdvancedCoil™ & AdvancedMemory™
During the first ten (10) years of the warranty (excluding specific limitations contained herein), MyComfort guarantees that your MySleep™ Mattress (AdvancedCoil™ or AdvancedMemory™) will be replaced or repaired at MyComfort’s discretion and without cost to you, should it be found defective because of poor workmanship or structural defects. This limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the foam or coils which does not affect the pressure relieving properties of the mattress.

The MySleep™ Mattress Warranty covers any normal use issues that cause the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than 1 ½”, not associated with a sag in the foundation or platform. It also covers any flaw in the mattress that causes permanent structural damage to the foam or coil units during normal usage. If such defects occur during the 2nd ten (10) years of the limited warranty, MyComfort will, at our discretion, repair the mattress at a prorated charge to you. If during the 2nd ten (10) years of the limited warranty it is not possible or feasible to repair the mattress, MyComfort will replace the mattress at a prorated charge to you.

AdvancedAir™
During the first two (2) years of the warranty (excluding specific limitations contained herein), MyComfort guarantees that your MySleep™ AdvancedAir™ Mattress will be replaced or repaired at MyComfort’s discretion and without cost to you, should it be found defective because of poor workmanship or structural defects. This limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the mattress fabric or foam which does not affect the pressure relieving properties of the mattress.

The MySleep™ Mattress Warranty covers any normal use issues that cause the AdvancedAir™ mattress to have a visible indentation greater than 1 ½“, not associated with a sag in the foundation or platform. It also covers any flaw that causes permanent structural damage to the foam, air chambers, air pumps, or controllers during normal usage. If such defects occur during the next eighteen (18) years of the limited warranty, MyComfort will, at our discretion, repair the mattress at a prorated charge to you. If during the last 18 years of the limited warranty it is not possible or feasible to repair the mattress, MyComfort will replace the mattress at a prorated charge to you.

During the first year of the prorated eighteen (18) years of the limited warranty, the prorated replacement charge will be 20% of the then current full retail price of the mattress. The prorated charge will increase by 4% for each subsequent year of the prorated period.

Adjustable Foundations & Mattresses

15-20 Year Limited Warranty
Adjustable Foundations
All adjustable foundations purchased at MyComfort are covered by a 20 year manufacturer’s warranty. All problems and defects associated with adjustable foundations must be taken care of through the manufacturer, for example Leggett & Platt. MySleep™ Mattresses and Overlays Sold on Adjustable Bed Systems
All MySleep™ mattresses and overlays sold for use on adjustable bed systems will be offered with the same limited warranties as the MySleep™ Mattresses and Overlays listed above, with the following exceptions contained herein.

The limited warranty and prorated period for mattresses and overlays sold for use on adjustable bed systems will be as follows. Any MySleep product that normally is offered with a 20-year (prorated after ten years) limited warranty will be offered with a fifteen (15) year warranty, five years being full, and ten years being prorated. Any MySleep product that normally is offered with a 20-year (prorated after two years) limited warranty will be offered with a fifteen (15) year warranty, two (2) years being full, and thirteen (13) years being prorated. During the first year of all prorated periods on MySleep Mattresses and Overlays sold for use on adjustable bed systems, the prorated replacement charge will be 50% of the then current retail price of the mattress or overlay. During the remaining years, the prorated replacement charge will reflect a linear increase to 100% by the end of the last year.

MySleep™ Pillows & MyCushion™ Products

1-3 Year Limited Warranty
Orthojust™ Pillows
MyComfort guarantees your MySleep™ Orthojust™ Pillow will be replaced or repaired, at our discretion and without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during the first year, excluding specific limitations contained herein. This limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the Intelli-Gel®, memory foam, or latex, which does not affect the pressure relieving, supporting, or aligning properties of the Orthojust™ Pillow. The warranty covers any flaw in the workmanship of the pillow that causes permanent structural damage to the Orthojust™ Pillow during normal usage.

MyCushion™ Products
MyComfort guarantees your MyCushion™ product will be replaced or repaired, at our discretion and without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during the first three (3) years, excluding specific limitations contained herein. This limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the Intelli-Gel® or foam, which does not affect the pressure relieving, supporting, or aligning properties of the MyCushion™ product. The warranty covers any flaw in the workmanship of the cushion that causes permanent structural damage to the MyCushion™ product during normal usage.

Other Warranty Terms

MySleep™ Overlays have been designed to work with a firm, solid mattress, free from any impressions or break-down. All MySleep Overlays and mattresses are designed to work in conjunction with a firm, completely flat, non-spring foundation. Our warranty and guarantees are based on performance of “sleep systems”. Therefore, substituting inappropriate foundations or mattresses is unacceptable and will void all warranties offered by MyComfort on any part of the sleep system. You may be required to provide proof as to the quality of the mattress and/or foundation being provided to your mattress or overlay in the event of a warranty claim. Since we don’t know how or where they are being used, any MySleep Overlay or Mattress purchased by itself and not as part of a complete Sleep System will only be offered with a five-year limited warranty, prorated twenty percent each year starting the first year.

The cover of any MySleep™ Overlay, Mattress, or Foundation or of the MyCushion™ product is guaranteed free of workman defects when you take possession of it. There is no warranty on the cover of any MySleep™ Overlay, mattress, or foundation or MyCushion™ product since any and all defects after taking possession are considered normal wear and tear.

All warranties contained herein shall be void if the foundation, mattress, overlay, pillow, cushion, or cover has been abused, damaged, burned, cut, torn, stained, or contains odors (including from tobacco smoke), or in any other way used or stored in a manner other than standard use (in the case of MySleep™, in a bedroom, at room temperature.

This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the MySleep™ or MyCushion™ product. If the original purchaser should sell the product, the subsequent purchaser takes the product “as is” and “with all faults”. All transportation and/or shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are additional to any prorated charges. You must provide proof of purchase, including original invoice or receipt, for any warranty claim.
